Big Ten players in the World Junior Summer Showcase
The conference is likely to be well-represented on the final WJC roster
Twelve Big Ten-tied prospects will take part in USA Hockey’s World Junior Summer Showcase, skating against top prospects from Canada, Finland and Sweden later this month in Plymouth, Michigan. There will be two USA teams to start the event and presumably they will consolidate into one for the later games. Minnesota-Duluth’s Scott Sandelin will be the head coach for the Americans at the World Juniors this year. Click here for the schedule. It is not indicated whether these games will be streamed.
